LESSON 2 - INTRODUCTIONS A - GREETING WORDS. Learn the greeting words bellow so you can greet people you meet. Hello : when you meet someone or talk to someone on the phone. Hi : informal greeting. Good Morning : when you want to wish the person a good day. Good Afternoon : when you greet someone in the afternoon. Good evening : Greeting someone early in the evening. Good Night : greeting someone late at night. Good bye : when you go away and want to say a fare well. See you later : more informal fare well. See you tomorrow : when you are sure you will meet the person in the next day. B - INTRODUCING YOURSELF You can introduce yourself using a sentence like: Hi, I'm John . When the person you are talking to answers something like: Hi John. Nice to meet you. I'm Maria. Then you can answer: Nice to meet you, Maria. Lesson One - Numbers A very good place to start is at the very begining. So, today we are going to start learning how to say the numbers from 1 to ten and from 10 and from 11 to 20, in English. Let's Go! 1 - one (uan) 2 - two (tchu) 3 - three (three) 4 - four (fo~) 5 - five (faiv) 6- six (siks) 7 - seven (sevan) 8 - eight (eit) 9 - nine (nain) 10 - ten (ten) 11 - eleven (Eleven) 12 - twelve (tchuelv) 13 - thirteen (thirteen) 14 - fourteen (forteen) 15 - fifteen (fifteen) 16 - sixteen (siksteen) 17 - seventeen (seventeen) 18 - eighteen (eigteen) 19 - nineteen (nainteen) 20 - twenty (tueni) As you can see above, you  have the numbers and their correct spelling and in brackets you have the aproximate pronunciation. For a more accurate pronunciation you can check on google, so you can listen to the correct sounding of these numbers.
